Breitling Oil and Gas, an independent oil and gas company based in Irving, Texas, today announced that the company has become the title sponsor of 1080 KRLD’s 34th Annual Christmas is for Caring event. The yearly event raises donations and awareness to assist the residents of the Denton State Supported Living Center in North Texas.
Chris Faulkner, CEO of Breitling Oil and Gas, said, “Breitling is proud to be a part of such a wonderful event and we are very fortunate to be able to help the fine folks at the Denton State Living Center.” Faulkner added, “The holiday season is meant exactly for this – to help others in their times of need and we are thrilled to be able to bring a little bit of happiness to such a wonderful group of people.”
Dan O’Connor, President of DSSLC Volunteer Service Council, said, “We are thrilled that Breitling Oil and Gas is making the 34th Annual Christmas Is For Caring possible for the residents at Denton State Supported Living Center. Through their support each resident will have the opportunity to open two Christmas Gifts each at the Christmas Party December 20th. In addition to the gifts, DSSLC will use the remaining funds to purchase much needed medical equipment and hopefully a wheelchair van to transport individual residents off campus. We feel extremely fortunate to have Breitling Oil and Gas as our Title Sponsor. Their support will enhance life and bring joy to all the residents at Denton State School.”

About Christmas is for Caring 2011
CIFC benefits the residents of the Denton State Supported Living Center. These are adults with developmental disabilities. In many cases they are profoundly affected by their disabilities, meaning they cannot function without a great deal of assistance and are not able to walk or talk. Our goal is to raise enough funds to purchase at least two gifts for each resident of the school. KRLD also will be collecting monetary donations used to complete a specific improvement project at the school. This year’s major projects will be helping purchase medical equipment to help better serve the residents, including new hospital beds and x-ray equipment.
