Mr. President I want you to get on board with her push for lifting the U.S. ban on crude exports and approving the proposed Keystone XL pipeline.
Along with crude exports, the Keystone XL oil sands pipeline could be a means of expanding the nation’s energy infrastructure — of which the President has broadly promised to champion such issues.
The Keystone XL pipeline, which the State Department estimated would support over 42,000 jobs, remains unapproved even after years of delay. I would urge the President to take immediate action on these infrastructure projects, which he has generally promised to champion.
The Keystone XL pipeline would transport oil from North Dakota down to the Gulf Coast refineries.
The Keystone XL pipeline is a $15 billion investment by TransCanada in the United States. It would have the capacity to transport 830,000 barrels of oil daily.
