Obama loves kicking the can down the road. Eight federal agencies preparing comments on the proposed Keystone XL crude oil pipeline project’s cross-border permit received additional time, the US Department of State announced. It did not set a new deadline, but emphasized that the agency consultation process will not start over.
This thing has been vetted more than the Vietnam War with studies lasting now more than 2,000 days, five exhaustive environmental reviews, and over 17,000 pages of scientific data Keystone XL decision still languishes on.
I guess President Obama puts his personal politics above job creation in this country. The latest Pew Research report shows 61% of Americas are in support of the Keystone XL pipeline. You would think the President would be working for the American people and helping this achieve what they want – apparently not.
