Oil and Gas Today with Chris Faulkner – Podcast #466

If I have to hear one more misinformed environmentalist tell me that if we stop the Keystone XL pipeline we can stop the development of Canada’s oil sands – I am going to scream!  This couldn’t be further from the truth.

Canada’s Ambassador has stated unequivocally the oil sands which now produce more than 1.7 million barrels of oil per day will continue to be developed whether the US wants the Keystone XL or not.

The funny part of this whole debacle is that the oil from Canada is already coming to the US – via truck and train.  And California is guzzling it – if California was as country it would be the third largest consumer of gas and diesel behind the United States and China.

Wake up America! The pipeline is the safest way to move oil and gas throughout our country.
