There was an eye-opening article in Forbes recently. Listen to this. If Texas were a nation, it would be the 8th largest oil producing country in the world, and the 3rd largest natural gas producer. The oil and gas industry accounts for one-third of the Texas economy, which added 1,000 new jobs A DAY last year. And the average….AVERAGE…..oil and gas job in Texas pays $125-grand a year. And Texas alone contributed to one-third of the America’s job growth since 2000.
The state now has a 7-Billion dollar surplus, and collected $13-Billion dollars in tax revenue last year. This is all 100-percent due to only one thing: Fracking. This amazing technology has unleashed an oil boom of epic proportion and is changing lives, filling state coffers and setting us free from foreign oil.
