I saw a survey from Gallup taken in August that made me sad. It was an opinion poll of people’s favorability of the 25 top industries in America – whether folks viewed them positively or negatively. At the top was the restaurant industry at 60-percent positive, followed by computers, farming, retail and travel. At the bottom, healthcare, legal, and oil and gas.
This is mainly due to the ultra-negative smear campaign that was organized by environmentalists four decades ago, and adopted by major media, that has now swelled into a tsunami of negative public opinion. Take away your car. Turn in all your airplane tickets. Remove anything plastic from your home & office. Turn off your cell phone and grow your own food. Then re-take the survey. I think you get the point.
