Powering America with Chris Faulkner – September 2

Join Chris Faulkner, CEO of Breitling Energy along with co-host Thomas Miller on Powering America Radio, the program dedicated to freeing the United States from foreign oil.

On this episode of Powering America, gas prices took another dive today and Chris Faulkner and Thomas Miller talk about it. Chris’s insights include analysis of the middle east situation including Iran, Libya, Iraq and the new dynamic of American oil production. We take a call from someone who is wondering if we could affect the Middle East and Russia by increasing our production even more, and sending gas to Europe.

Our guest today is Mike Steenhoek, Executive Director of the Soy Transportation Coalition with a very interesting discussion about the dilemma farmers are facing in North Dakota by not being able to ship their grain because there is a massive train car backlog due to the oil boom. We explore the situation from every angle, including asking how much damage has been done, will it affect future crops, and can government subsidies help farmers ease the pain.

In the last segment, we take another call from someone who was asking about the origin of fracking and how much oil America can really produce.
