On this episode of Powering America, Thomas Miller and Parker Hallam, President of Crude Energy, discuss the Rockefeller Foundation divesting from fossil fuels.  Then, a discussion of new solar and wind initiatives in California and the impact of the Ivanpah solar development.

In the second segment, discussion on well bore integrity and how much science and technology goes into the drilling process.  Also, Parker discusses how investors can participate in Crude Energy wells.

Thomas and Parker have a conversation with John Esparza, President of the Texas Trucking Association in light of an 8% increase in traffic fatalities on Texas roads.  John says it is not due to the oil boom, but more due to the population expansion.  Thomas tells a story about a Colorado rancher who has 500 wells on his 35,000 acre ranch and how oil and gas works well with agriculture and farming.

To finish the show, Parker and Thomas discuss the Permian Basin and how to invest in Crude Energy’s working interests and royalty interests.
